It goes without saying that food is vitally important to life and that most of us are deeply and emotionally defined by what and how we eat. NDs are well versed in nutrition and believe, as Hippocrates did, that you should “Let the food be thy medicine and the medicine be thy food.” Not surprisingly, a large body of research confirms that food can heal as well as harm. It is our goal to help you make personal and practical decisions about what you eat. We know these changes affect most aspects of your life and potentially the lives of your family, so we don’t suggest them lightheartedly. We may use any combination of personal/family history, diet analysis, blood tests, and physical exams to collaborate with you in building the most appropriate diet for you to prevent/heal disease and optimize your future health.
